Congratulations to the Healthy Queensland State Winners and Regional finalists!

The winner of the 'Healthiest Workplace' award goes to long term Ford Health customer Jellinbah Mining Pty Ltd for their Wellness Program offered to all employees and their families. Jellinbah Mining have been awarded $35,000, with matched support from Jellinbah and Ford Health to research how to further engage workers, which will inform the future development and targeting of their Wellness Program.

Over the last 10 years Ford Health has been conducting onsite health assessments and interventions for the Jellinbah workforce. Executive level health assessments have been provided to Jellinbah directors in our Brisbane clinic.

Regional winner 'Communities' goes to AgForce for their joint submission with Ford Health called 'Healthy Farmers'.

Over the last three years a program has been offered to over 40,000 farmers and their immediate family. Ranging from e-Learning seminars, articles to onsite health assessments and now online self-directed health assessments, this program has helped educate members of AgForce and other associations regarding the value of preventative health.

The culmination of this health surveillance has resulted in the yearly publication of the Healthy Farmer Index.

Visit www.healthyfarmer.com.au to find out more about this program.
