Ford Health provides the following programs and assessments with the aim to improve the health and resilience of key individuals in demanding roles, and to keep them performing at their best. Each assessment is performed by a doctor or exercise physiologist and are suited to a range of employees. They may also be conducted in the workplace for the convenience of these busy individuals.
 Healthy Managers Program
Building resilience for demanding roles
This program is tailored to meet the needs of key individuals in demanding roles, and for employees over 45 years for whom a basic health assessment may be insufficient to identify certain risks that increase with age. For the convenience of these busy individuals, this detailed assessment by a doctor is conducted in the workplace.
The health assessment involves:
- a questionnaire to identify work, lifestyle, medical, physical and psychological health risks
- blood tests (completed prior)
- a 1 hour appointment with a doctor and health consultant
- a detailed personal health report including a prioritised list of identified health risks, specific recommendations, health information and resources
- analysis of personal and family history
- referral letters to GP's and specialists as required
- 12 months online access to myhealth, their personal health centre where they have access to a range of health resources, tools and information (see myhealth program for more information)

 Healthy Teams Program
Enhance team productivity and morale
Ford Health motivates and supports every member of your team to proactively look after their health. It can be delivered to many employees across a range of workplaces and locations with the key components conducted by a doctor in your workplace.
The Healthy Teams assessment involves:
- a questionnaire to identify work, lifestyle, medical, physical and psychological health risks
- blood tests (completed prior)
- a 1/2 hour appointment with a health consultant
- a personal health report including a prioritised list of identified health risks, a recommended action plan, health information and resources
- GP referral letter
- 12 months online access to myhealth, their personal health centre where they have access to a range of health resources, tools and information (see myhealth program for more information)

 50+ Health Assessment
An ageing workforce has become a significant issue for many organisations. Supporting the health of our people aged 50 years and over has become more important than ever to ensure this integral employee group is kept healthy and fully engaged in the workforce.
The 50+ health assessment, conducted in the workplace, involves:
- a questionnaire to identify work, lifestyle, medical, physical and psychological health risks common to this age group
- blood tests (completed prior)
- a 1 hour appointment with a doctor and health consultant
- a detailed personal health report including a prioritised list of identified health risks, specific recommendations, health information and resources
- referral letters to GP's and specialists as required

 myhealth Essentials Assessment
This entry level basic health risk assessment is designed for companies who are interested in providing a low cost high value solution that promotes ongoing behaviour change modifications. The myhealth Essentials Program combines two components that together create the ability to gain an understanding of an organisation’s main health risks while providing ongoing support to the individual over a 12 month period.
The program involves:
- an online health risk questionnaire to assess key work, lifestyle, medical, physical and psychological health risks
- a 15 minute on-site, private and confidential biometric assessment taking the following measurements:
- blood pressure
- finger prick glucose
- cholesterol (HDL and Total)
- height
- weight
- BMI
- waist to hip ratio measurements
- health check report card
- GP referral letter for high risks participants
- 12 months online access to myhealth, their personal online health centre, where they have access to a range of health resources, tools and information (see myhealth program for more information)

 Healthy Hearts Assessment
This program is designed to provide a personal cardiovascular disease risk profile by assessing medical and lifestyle factors. These measurements are used to determine a cardiovascular risk score in order to determine the individuals risk of developing cardiovascular related diseases in the next 5 years.
It involves a 15 minute on site, private and confidential assessment taking the following measurements:
- blood pressure
- waist and hip measurements
- height and weight
- finger prick cholesterol and glucose screening

 Skin Checks
The aim of this program is to determine an employee's risk of developing skin cancer and check for any developing lesions. This allows high risks individuals to adopt appropriate checking techniques in order to monitor these risks in the future.
Ford Health provides top-to-toe skin screening examinations by a medical practitioner. All subsequent treatments are the responsibility of the employee. Urgent referrals and follow-ups are made by Ford Health if required.
The program includes:
- a 10 minute private and confidential screening
- handouts and brochures
- on-site counselling
- referrals to specialists as required
- program management and scheduling

 Ergonomic Assessments
This program aims to prevent work-related musculoskeletal disorders and systemic injury prevention within the workplace. It takes place onsite at the individuals workstation whether they be stationed at a desk, use heavy machinery or a combination of both.
In a 15 minute individual assessment an exercise physiologist will Identify potential practices that could result in injury or repetitive strain. They will communicate risks involved with the individual to make changes to their workstation and also review current equipment that may need to be updated or modified to enable employees to work in a safe manner.
The assessment includes:
- a review of the employees workstation including chair, desk and foot rest adjustment, keyboard and mouse, computer screen, posture and other issues such as workstation set up and cleanliness
- a consultation with an exercise physiologist providing recommendations such as stretching exercises for good back care
- educational materials
- a snap shot report supplied on participation
